Together, we open a pink door to a second chance.
NW CT Reentry Center helps people returning from incarceration rebuild their lives through jobs, housing, counseling, and community. Independent from government and not-for-profit, our 501(c)(3) private foundation is rooted in compassion and practical support.
Every step forward matters — your support fuels real progress.
Vision
We envision a community where every person — no matter their past — is welcomed, empowered, and equipped to contribute meaningfully to society.
- Belonging and dignity for all
- Opportunities that unlock potential
- Communities strengthened through compassion
Mission & Goals
We support people reentering society with practical tools and human connection.
What we do
- Job placement, vocational readiness, and employer partnerships
- Housing navigation and life-skills coaching
- Counseling, peer groups, and mentorship
- Community education to reduce stigma
Our goals
- Shorten time-to-employment post-release
- Increase housing stability
- Build confidence and accountability
- Expand local networks of support
Social Impact
Second chances transform lives — and communities. With each person who stabilizes work and housing, families grow stronger and neighborhoods become safer and more connected.
We focus on long-term outcomes: sustained employment, housing stability, and wellness — not just short-term placement metrics.
Second Chance Works
We partner with local employers to match motivated candidates with fair-chance jobs.
Ready to Rejoin
Life-skills, communication, and financial basics to navigate a new start with confidence.
Hope Hub
Free counseling, peer groups, and restorative circles led by trained volunteers.
